El Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Neuropsiqui\u00e1trica (NPRC) fue fundado en 2001 por\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Federico Schaerf<\/span>, MD, Ph.D., psiquiatra y experto reconocido a nivel nacional en planificaci\u00f3n y ejecuci\u00f3n de ensayos cl\u00ednicos sobre la enfermedad de Alzheimer. El Dr. Schaerf se gradu\u00f3 en la\u00a0<span class=\"xn-org\">Universidad de Maryland<\/span>\u00a0con un doctorado en 1980 y un doctorado en medicina en 1983.
